[MHRI] Manual Handling for Rail Industry - half day

All three courses cover broadly the same content but tailored for each working environment. This training course aims to reduce the risks of manual handling injuries to staff. The training course is very practical in nature, offering guidance and help on specific problems.

This deals with the essential elements of the principles of manual handling whilst focusing on more specifics such as correct techniques for moving and handling patients; along with specialist equipment and its use.

This training course is well suited to Safety Managers or Representatives, Human Resource Managers and/or any other personnel wishing to develop their knowledge of manual handling, communication skills and instructional methods.

This training course provides excellent training for those required to undertake mobile tower scaffold operations and provides delegates with competencies to select, erect, use, strike and inspect a mobile tower safely.

The training course is designed to provide information and practice on the operational and legal requirements of carrying out lifting operations on a construction site in a safe and controlled manner.

This training course is designed to provide delegates with the skills to carry out a Risk Assessment and complete a simple lifting plan for the lifting of trusses and RSJs for small construction projects.

The training course is suitable for organisations where a qualified First Aider is not required, but where there must be an 'appointed person' to satisfy the needs of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
