Senior Engineer (Engineering Design)
The Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the preparation of highway design, including S278 and S38 technical submissions and residential layouts, preferably in the consultancy field. The Candidate must be able to interpret the DMRB and local highway standards and develop designs from conceptual layouts through to construction issue. Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English are essential. Commercial experience is desirable as you will be required to advise on commercial bids and tenders. The minimum requirement is a Degree (2:1) in civil engineering and be working towards Chartered status (ICE).

Senior Engineer (Flood Risk)

The Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the preparation of FRA’s, Drainage Strategies including SuDS and related drainage matters, preferably in the consultancy field.  The Candidate must be able to interpret drainage and geotechnical data and develop strategies for both surface water and waste water as appropriate. Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English are essential.  Commercial experience is desirable as you will be required to advise on commercial bids and tenders. The minimum requirement is a Degree (2:1) in a related subject and be working towards Chartered status (ICE or CIWEM).

Senior Transport Planner

The Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the preparation of TA’s, TS’s and the use of junction modelling software including Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, TEMPro/NTEM for development projects in the UK. The Candidate must be able to interpret transport data and have a working knowledge of design standards (DMRB, MfS etc.). Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English are essential, as is the ability to work with minimum supervision, and a working knowledge of environmental issues relating to transport. The main emphasis of the role will be working as part of a team delivering high quality transport planning, modelling and technical reports and providing advice and support to junior staff.

Transport Planner

The Candidate should have 1 to 2 years’ experience in the preparation of TA’s, TS’s and the use of junction modelling software for development projects in the UK. The Candidate must be able to interpret transport data and have an understanding of design standards (DMRB, MfS etc.). Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English are essential. A broad knowledge of environmental issues relating to transport is expected.

Graduates

The minimum requirement is a Degree (2.1) in a related subject, preferably Civil Engineering for the Design role. The candidates must have a positive desire to work in their selected discipline and be a team player. The positions are open to newly qualified and those with a year’s experience.
