PFA Consulting’s Water Management Team works with developers, land owners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to deliver sustainable drainage and flood risk solutions to these challenges.

Through our team’s expertise in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and detailed understanding of flood risk, we specialise in supporting new development through all stages of the planning process. This includes providing technical input to land acquisition, site promotion, masterplanning, outline and full planning applications, and ultimately detailed design and technical approvals.

We work with river and flood modelling specialists to quantify and manage flood risk on development sites, and design drainage solutions to allow developments to proceed. Through our use of the latest software, and implementing industry best practice, we prepare creative, cost-effective designs, and secure the necessary approvals.
